3 things to do every morning!

The first hour of your day is the most important hour because it sets the tone for the rest of your day. The other day I was listening to a podcast about Dean Graziosi and his new book called ‘Millionaire Success Habits’. In his book he talks about his morning routine and how he does these 3 things every morning.

Feed your soul– Waking up with a grateful heart and reading inspiration and wholesome things to start out your day. Spend time to sit and think and visualize success throughout your day.

Something cool Dean Graziosi talked about was finding gratitude at the lowest level. He says sometimes the problem is when people begin to have great success they only have gratitude if they reach the next step or reach new levels of personal achievement. What he means by this is having the ability to wake up and be grateful for the simple things in your life. About 150,000 people die every day so just the fact that you wake up and have good health is something to be very grateful for. Waking up with graditude is something that can start your day out right. Spending ten minutes or so reading wholesome or inspirational things is great thing to do. Before you pick up and check your phone make sure the first thing you do is be grateful and read something wholesome or inspirational.

Feed your body– Drink lemon water and have a good healthy Breakfast to fuel your body for the day. As an athlete you have to eat a good breakfast to provide you with energy throughout the day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and feeding your body with as many good things as you can is a great way to start your day. Food in energy and healthy food is long-lasting energy. Don’t skip breakfast and don’t use the excuse you just don’t have enough time to eat a healthy breakfast.

  1. Drink 20 0z of water with a lemon to begin your day
  2. Have a green smoothie
  3. Eat a healthy Breakfast to provide good energy.

Feed your energy– One of the hardest habits to get into is to wake up and exercise in the morning, but when you do it the results are amazing! Exercising in the morning provides great energy and awakens the body for the rest of the day.

Remember to feed your soul, body, and energy during the first hour of your day! The way you start your day sets up the rest of your day. Focus on the 3 DOs and create your own morning routine that fits your schedule!
