Sometimes it takes creating or changing one habit to lead you down the pathway of success. The habit of waking up early can lead you to have more time to exercise, eat breakfast, drink water, and organize your day.
A Keystone habit is one habit that triggers you do to a lot of other good habits. It’s the keystone of opening a lot of good habits. I know one keystone habit that triggers a lot of success for me is the habit of waking up early. When I wake up early I eat, drink water, have a smoothie, read, pray, and go to bed earlier. Just the habit of waking up early triggers me to do a whole lot of other great habits. I discovered that my keystone habit is waking up early.
A big keystone habit for people across the country is the habit of exercising. From the book The Power of Habit is where I learned all about keystone habits. It talks in great detail about the power of exercising as a keystone habit. “Typically, people who exercise, start eating better and becoming more productive at work. They smoke less and show more patience with colleagues and family. They use their credit cards less frequently and say they feel less stressed. I truly believe that the success and happiness you will have in 2017 will be based off the habits you have. Focus on a few habits you can change this year and gain some momentum towards other good habits.

- Eating a healthy breakfast everyday
- Going to bed early

- reading inspirational and wholesome things daily

Above are a few ideas on some habits you can focus on for the year 2017. The habits you have determine the quality of life you live and I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to grow some great habits in the year 2017!
